Me in 1975

Memories of yesterdays
That were so long ago
Never thought
They'd seem so far away.

Was it really so long ago
That we were young
And wore such clothes
And had such hair?

So long ago that
We sang such songs
And danced so long
To songs that now
Sound strange?

There was magic
In those days,
In our dreams
and our music
And the laughter
That chased away
Our tears.
